I was sitting at my desk finishing up my FOP test when I realized that checking my answers for this class doesn't really help me. It only makes me feel more insecure about what score I'm going to get on the test. :o So I turned my test in without looking over my answers after I had written them down. Next Monday, I'll see if this method is going to help me or kill my grade.

I logged onto this LiveJournal thing, and what do you know? New community features, heh. Cools. I looked at that prompt a day community; I think it would be rather interesting to see what responses I'll create.

So here's my first one.

eraser dust and pencil shavings on my desk

Dark specks and eraser dust line my desk as if they were . Pencil shavings in my pencil box, spilled out into the little corners of my backpack. I am a messy person. In my mind, I have always been a messy person, and I will continue to be for the remainder of my life. I don't understand why I can't keep myself together. It isn't as if I don't have the time and energy to put the effort into making the things around me look better. Actually, if I really put my mind to it, I could probably be one of those extremely organized people who can find anything -whenever- they need it, -wherever- they need it. Could it be that I just don't want to be one of those people? Or could it be that I'm just lazy?

Kekeke.

Anyone sign on for that Santa of the Secret Sneekily Ways thing? XDD; I stuck "See's Candy Sugar Sticks" on there oh-so-many times. It makes me giggle.

I got home at about 8:30 tonight because of winter drumline and karate testing/tournament-thing.

Really, though. Life's .. decency, if there is such a term I can use for it, fluctuates. All too often. =/

Monday was okay.
But Tuesday was a low point for me.
But then Wednesday got better.
And then Thursday got better.

And now, today's the best day of the week, you know? Today's a home game, so we're performinggg. And then we have a twelve-hour competition tomorrow, which I am solookingforwardto because I'm weird and I love long comps. Strange how Fridays of freshman year amaze me so. =DD And yes, I consider that to be agoodthing. 8DD

I'm sitting here in FOP class to the left of Michael (ahem, Mee-kye-ell) and to the right of Some Nonexistant Invisiperson, listening to the ongoing chatter of my classmates and -- [Please excuse this interruption. This sentence has been deleted because of its everlasting stupidity.]

Yes, exactly. Competition-days are hereby and shall-forevermore-be fun. Well, as long as I'm sitting in the bus with the right people, I get to eat sugary foods, and -- okay, going on now.

Woke up yesterday morning (morning of the competition, yes, I know, I'm posting this late) somewhat earlier than I had intended to - somewhere around ten o'clock. My parents were already awake, of course, putting food and chairs and things together for some parent-volunteer gathering at the comp. XDD; (You saw the chips and soda and things on the table by the bus? My parents brought those, and they had me help them haul several bags of -insert random concession here- to the car, right before my dad and I took off for Round Table Pizza. Yeah, drumline had a party/rendezvous-thingie at the Fullerton Round Table Pizza .. It was quite amusing, really, I sat with Joey, Nathan, Hiram, Alex, Alvin, Tyler. Yeah, I was the only girl. :<

And then my daddy picked me up and drove me to Troy. I didn't even get to tell anyone I was actually -leaving- .. XDD; Ehm, once I arrived at the band room, hung out with Kristin and Emo for a bit. Ehehe, we didn't have to get into fulldress at Troy, we ended up changing at Wilson. Yesssss~. So yeah. On-the-bus, sat next to Kristin, to the left of Seth, behind Josh and Felicia, behind-and-to-the-left of Rei and Joey. Which was pretty cool, since I haven't been in that sort of odd seating for a while. (But now I like it.) Kristin and I took out my iPod early on in the drive, and turned up Promiscuous Girl at full volume, oh how fun! And then we sent text messages to each other using cell phone notepad .. hahaha. (example - Seth: "y do u not like hiram" Me: "eww. because i js DONT. DX") I really hope, come May (when my family gets new phones), they'll get rid of the text-message-suspension they've placed on me. XD; Yeah. The bus ride wasn't too long. In fact, I sorta wish we'd go to places further away from Troy just so the ride's longer .. :>

Actually arrived at Wilson and got changed into the pants-things. XD; I guess everyone put the jackets on the grass or something; pit took the jackets with them to this remote part of the school, where we practiced for some two hours (I-THINK). Er, so yeah! And then we performed; can't actually remember how well I think we did overall, so I'll skip my little commentary that I should do right about now, and move on to the part where we get changed and Castillo/Colin dismiss us. ^^

So yeah. They dismiss us, and Kristin and I go off to buy food. We stand there just staring at the stands, and finally Kristin goes "Ah. Food-food." She repeats this several times, until the phrase makes it into my head for the first time. Me: "Uh, food-food? ... FOOD-FOOD. WHERE?" She turns around and points to it, and we run. XDDD Setho joins us in line; oh oh oh we get PIZZA and 5$FUNNELCAKE and cool things like that. o_o
